All About Me
I am a proud prairie born, opera singing mother of three. Growing up, I was always busy with choirs and musicals. After high school, I completed a Bachelor of Music, majoring in vocal performance at Canadian Mennonite University in Winnipeg, where I studied with Rose Vanderhooft. I have performed with a variety of ensembles, such as Winnipeg Gilbert and Sullivan Society, Manitoba Opera, Hamilton Bach Elgar Choir, Opera Kitchener, Menno Singers, Inter-Mennonite Childrens' Choir, Waterloo Regional Gilbert & Sullivan Society, and KW Musical Productions to name a few. I have been teaching voice since 2006, and I love to share my passion with singers of all ages. I teach a variety of styles, from Opera and Classical studies, to Musical Theatre, Pop, and other contemporary genres.

"Lessons with Pam are simply the best! She creates a fun, inspiring, and safe space which is important for a newbie such as myself."
My goodness. What can I NOT say about Pam's exceptional talents as a
vocal instructor. As a (classically trained) pianist, my standards
are (perhaps unreasonably) high when it comes to musical instruction,
and when we found Pam, we couldn't have been happier.
So at an early age, we discovered that my daughter Kiana had a natural
inclination towards singing (we had tried piano, and violin), so we
gave vocal lessons a try. From day one, Kiana was hooked, and hooked
on Pam, and the incredible journey has continued ever since.
Under Pam's patient, creative, and encouraging tutelage, we have seen
Kiana's vocal abilities blossom incredibly, to the point that she is
competing (and winning) at the local Kiwanis Festival! And her
skills are moving beyond just singing, music theory and fundamentals,
which in my opinion is critical to higher level musical development.
I can't recommend Pam more highly. So if you are like me, and suspect
your child may have an inkling of vocal talent, take the plunge and
sign up with Pam. You won't be disappointed.
